Check your social insurance contributions here…
One thing I am often asked by my clients is how to access and check their social insurance contributions received to date during their working career. Whilst this is not something that may trouble a 22 year old, believe me it becomes ever more pertinent as the years progress… and unfortunately they do! If, like me, you are of a certain vintage, and realise that this is something you need to address, then this is how to get it sorted.
Sometimes getting in touch with the Department of Social Protection, or indeed any government department, can be a daunting prospect and trying to get the right person on the phone can be very hit and miss. Sometimes however, you come across a gem of information that is exactly what you need and unbelievably the whole process becomes a walk in the park.
The link below which I am delighted to share with you is a link from the Department of Social Protection that allows you to quickly and easily request a copy of your social insurance contributions record from the time you first started earning your daily crust. Simply click the link below and fill out the information as required, and in about 2 weeks the information should arrive through your letterbox. That is step 1 of the job complete! Step 2 is even easier… if you are having any difficulty interpreting the information provided by the Department of Social Protection on the record provided, simply give me a call! I will be delighted to help you ensure that your contributions are correct and up-to-date.
Let’s face it, we don’t want to miss out on any little bit of the state pension when the time comes, so now is the time to ensure you’re on the right track! Here’s the link:-
